Michael Best Merges With Nebraska Corporate Boutique
Michael Best & Friedrich LLP continues its expansion, announcing Monday it is opening a Nebraska office by combining with Lincoln, Nebraska-based corporate and securities boutique Enterprise Legal Studio.
The Lincoln office will be Michael Best’s 19th location and the firm’s formal entrance into the Great Plains market. Six attorneys and two professionals from Enterprise Legal Studio have moved over to join Michael Best.

The new Enterprise Legal attorneys will join Michael Best’s emerging technology company and venture capital team — known as Venture Best — which helps venture capital and private equity investors find early- and mid-stage investment opportunities, especially in the biotechnology and information technology fields.
Enterprise Legal Studio was opened in 2015 by corporate and securities attorney Bart Dillashaw, who relocated to Nebraska from Silicon Valley, where he had been an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC. The firm developed a strong reputation for supporting early-stage, venture-backed companies with general corporate and transactional matters.
“Enterprise Legal Studio previously collaborated with Michael Best on venture matters, and through that process, we came to know the Venture Best team well,” Dillashaw said in a statement. “As we considered ways to best serve our clients, it became clear that a combination with Michael Best was the right move to support our team and deliver quality, value-driven expertise to our clients.”

Michael Best entered the California market earlier this summer via its July merger with Los Angeles venture capital law firm O&A PC.
Michael Best was founded in 1848 in Wisconsin and today has more than 300 attorneys in 19 offices nationwide.
